Chihuahua-pug mix Cecily is a one-person girl

Breed: Chihuahua-pug mix

Cecily is ready for a new human to adore. (Courtesy of K9 Spirit Organization)

Age: 4 years

Gender: Spayed female

Size: 9 pounds

Cecily’s story: Adorable Cecily was rescued from a local shelter, where she landed after being hit by a car. She is healing nicely after her pelvis was fractured and spent a few weeks on crate rest. As a result, she does well sleeping in a crate at night and will use a potty pad if no one is around to let her outside. Cecily seems to attach to one person in the home, so would do best in an adults-only home where she would not be left alone a lot. She gets along with other dogs, but doesn’t play with them, but that might be because of her injury. She’d do best with someone who is home most of the day and won’t mind her following them around. She will leave them alone if told to do so. Ideally, her home will have a yard, no kids under 12, and a family that is OK with her really loving just one person.

Adoption fee: $250, includes current vaccinations, microchip and complete dental cleaning.

Adoption procedure: Go to K9 Spirit Organization’s website and complete an application. You can also email Stacy at stacy@k9spirit.org.
