Signs.com Again Named to Utah Business Fast 50
For the fourth consecutive year, Signs.com has been named to the Utah Business Fast 50, a distinguished roster of the fastest-growing companies in the Beehive State. We’re pleased to have been ranked #37 on the 2020 list, which was announced September 1 at the Fast 50 Awards event held at the Grand America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City.
The list, chosen by Utah Business magazine, comprises the top Utah companies that have shown accelerated growth and innovation. The final rankings for the Fast 50 list are based on a combination of revenue growth and total revenue over the previous year; companies must be doing business for at least two years.
“We owe our outstanding growth to our equally outstanding customers and their continued support,” says Nelson James, Signs.com’s president. “It’s an honor to have Signs.com be included among the best companies Utah has to offer for the fourth year in a row. By keeping our customers our top priority, and ensuring they have a rewarding and productive sign-buying experience, we trust they see how much we value them and appreciate their business.”
In the past year, Signs.com has continued fostering customer confidence by introducing an array of new products – including frosted acrylic signage, fence wraps, three-sided table covers, and others – as well as continuing to improve upon its industry-leading website and free design tool and services.
In addition, when COVID-19 took hold this spring, the company not only developed an impressive roster of COVID-related custom signage for businesses but also provided free coronavirus signage templates to ensure its customers could quickly react to the pandemic. Just a few short weeks later, it transformed an area of its production floor into a custom face-covering production operation (producing custom face masks and neck gaiters), hiring dozens of new employees and contractors to address customers’ requirements.
“We knew that it was important for small businesses to find a way to quickly deliver critical messages, and protect their employees and customers – whether the business needed to announce it was continuing to offer its services and products, get out its new working hours or social-distancing information, or ‘mask up’ so that the company could quickly get back to business,” says James. “We’re glad to be able to assist our customers in these challenging times.”
All Utah Business Fast 50 winners and their rankings will be featured in the September issue of Utah Business magazine.
